a variety of services to mothers and their babies. We would be happy to
speak with you individually to put together a package that best serves your
needs. Reduced fees may be offered if working with a “Doula-in-training”.

Birth Doula/Labor Support Services
The list of services
below outlines the typical Birth package. However, we are happy to work
with each mother individually if there are additional needs (i.e. partner
for classes, etc.) that arise.

labor and delivery support through 1-2 hours postpartum

will be charged at an hourly rate)

Postpartum Doula Services
While each family’s needs are
different, Postpartum Doulas offer loving care for mother and baby;
emotional support for the entire family and guidance working through the
baby blues; education about mother recovery, breastfeeding, and baby care;
assistance with sibling adjustment; and baby proofing, running errands, meal
preparation, and light cleaning.
- Minimum 4-hour
shifts; maximum 10-hour shifts
- Daytime - $20
per hour; may include all services listed above (plus the cost of food)
- Nighttime - $15
per hour; limited to mother and baby care

Breastfeeding Consultation
DoulaSpirit strongly
suggests breastfeeding your newborn! We offer breastfeeding guidance and
support for any mother with questions, concerns, or experiencing
difficulties. We are happy to answer simple questions regarding nursing and
breast health via email. Please understand that we are non-medical
professionals and may direct you to consult with a physician.

Belly Casting
 Noa
Gopstein, one of our Doula’s, has a talent for creating Belly Casts for
pregnant mothers. Starting with your
first “baby-belly” and
continuing with each subsequent
pregnancy can also be fun to compare your
belly shape and size. Our artist Noa can do the decorating of the cast, or
you can take it home and make it your own. Either way, this is a wonderful
way to
remember how beautiful you were as a
pregnant woman and also add personalized art to the baby’s room. Please

Baby Food Cooking Lesson
DoulaSpirit
understands that the economy can be hard on a family’s wallet. Between
diapers, well-visits to the doctor, not to mention the hundred other things
needed for a new baby, the bills can add up. We offer mothers the
opportunity to learn more about making your own baby food either on a
one-on-one basis or in a group setting. We will teach you how to save money
by making your own baby food and it’s also really healthy! Please contact us

Birth/Postpartum Combination Package
This package allows
a mother to work with one Doula through both the Birth and Postpartum
experience. In addition, because you are signing on to use both
services, a discount of 15% will be applied to the Birth Fee as long as you
contract for at least 12-hours of Postpartum service.

Postpartum-Baker’s Dozen Package
This package is a
great deal for the family who knows they want to utilize a Postpartum
Doula’s skills more long term. Whether during the day to help out and allow
the mother (and father) bonding time with their new child or during
the night so mom and dad can get some rest (especially for those returning
to work) this may be your best choice. After 12 visits (of 4 to10-hour
shifts), the 13th visit (of equal or lesser length) is FREE!
