What Can A Soul Portrait Reveal About Your Truest Self?

Given the hectic pace at which life often drags us, how often do we get to see the truest essence of ourselves?
Most of the time, we are the product of our upbringings, our careers, our closest friends and our family, often in such deeply subconscious ways that we do not even realise. As the often-quoted saying goes, we are a mixture of the five people closest to us.
There is more to us than who we know, however, and I can capture that essence in art with a soul portrait that I will also interpret for you.
The soul is the purest essence of the self, free from society, free from the roles we play for others, and free from the needs and drives of the body. Extricate everything else and the soul reflects who we really are.
What a portrait will reveal about the soul will depend on the individual, but my ultimate aim is to capture onto canvas the true version of yourself that you see the faintest glimpse of deep in your eyes when you look into the mirror or when you feel that spark of euphoria.
It is the part of you that remains constant no matter how old you get, no matter who you are talking to, no matter what situation you are in. It is the truest and most unguarded self, one that many of us rarely get the chance to meet.
Capturing your soul on canvas is about telling your story, revealing your past, expanding on your present and looking towards your future and your higher self.
It can be a revealing experience, highlighting the influences and challenges found in this life and how they have shaped the persona you inhabit and present to other people.
Revelation is often deeply healing, allowing us to reconnect with the truest version of ourselves and start to dismantle our limiting beliefs.
